Creative Commons is due to launch a UK version of its licenses on the 1st August. Unlike most copyleft licenses this one will be governed by English law.

They have produced the license in collaboration with the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy at Oxford University and it's been designed to fit in with the BBC’s Creative Archive project which will involve the BBC releasing some of its archives.

I won the Twist competition at * onewordphoto! It's the first time I've ever won anything with my photography so I'm dead chuffed.

I've previously entered onewordphoto competitions but never even got a vote - I know you are supposed to be really cool about these sort of things but I'm still really pleased
